Roos Blossom Job Coaching
«The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.» Eleanor Roosevelt
Would you like to develop professionally or take a new path but are still looking for clarity about the direction you want to take?
Are you facing an important decision in your career and would like support in confidently taking your future into your own hands?
Are you thinking about applying to a new job but can't get motivated to put all your documents together?

Let's walk that path together.
Job Coaching
A career change often entails a lot of effort and can bear certain risks. Many women mostly are confronted with self-doubt and anxiety long before the real change has even materialized.
How does my professional
future look like?
What am I good at?
What are my strengths?
Will I find a new job?
Where should I start my search?
What if I don't shine in the job interview?
Shouldn't I take further training before starting to apply?
What will my family and friends say about my desire for career development?
Have you ever secretly asked yourself these or similar questions?

No matter whether you work full time or part time, whether you have been in your job for a long time or whether you are coming back from a break (be it a family break, studies, travel etc.), a professional re-orientation should be well-planned. The wish for change alone will only just remain a wish as long as there is no plan to make it happen.

All beginnings are difficult. To set the ball rolling can be tiring and quite an effort. Because, let's face it, when was the last time you updated your CV or given a brush up to your LinkedIn profile? And what about your documents such as reference letters and diplomas?

A job coaching can
-
give you more clarity about your professional situation
-
support you in identifying your strengths and goals
-
strengthen your self-confidence and your performance skills
-
help you elaborate creative solutions to overcome professional obstacles
-
boost your personal and professional development

In short, a job coaching can help you pave the way for your professional future.

Let me be your companion on this path.
Your companion
I see my role as a coach as a companion who neither walks behind you to push you, nor walks in front of you to tread the path for you. Rather, I want to walk alongside you, accompany you on your journey, even if at the beginning of a coaching it may not yet be entirely clear where the path will lead and where we will end up. As your co-pilot, let me help you read the signposts, clear the way when it gets a little rocky, or hold the umbrella protectively over you when the clouds gather overhead.

In one-on-one coaching sessions, we address your needs individually. The following topics often come up:
Positioning
Bringing order and system in the current career situation

Elaborating your own interests and strengths and positioning them in a targeted manner
Performance skills
Consolidating your performance skills and negotiation tactics
Simulating job interviews or salary negotiations
Mindset
Strengthening self-confidence and practicing authentic self-marketing
Identifying and dissolving negative and blocking beliefs
Work life balance
Setting priorities, managing time, reducing stress

Dealing with expectations and criticism in the professional and private environment
Career planning
Discussing and developing potential future scenarios considering their feasibility
Job application
Updating your application dossier including check-up of resume and LinkedIn
After an initial intro call, we decide whether we are a good match and would like to work together on your goals. This initial meeting lasts 15 minutes and is free of charge. My coaching sessions usually take place online, on request also physically.

We are a good match if
-
… you wish to have a clear goal for your next career move and strengthen your self-confidence.
-
… you seek for a companion in your professional reorientation and would like to work on solutions together.
-
… you are ready to break out of your comfort zone, invest in yourself and finally want to blossom.
Hi, I'm Seraina...
"Life happens while you're busy making plans."
Time and time again, life has taught me how useful and important it can be to have a plan B. After completing my studies in translation, I soon realized that this profession would not be my calling. I lacked orientation and felt somewhat aimless.
Common sense said: "Go get a job and make some money until you know what you want." So, rather by coincidence, I entered the professional world in an industry that was completely foreign to me – namely, the still rather male-dominated financial industry. Step by step, I worked my way up from assistant to marketing team leader.

Soon, however, I found myself caught up in a web of pressure to perform, with countless hours of overtime, business trips and further education alongside my full-time job, always hoping that the career success I sought would come along... Success or not, I had to realize that this hamster wheel would probably not make me happy in the long run.

And now what?
Working on an interpersonal level has always been the most fulfilling for me. Moving my team members forward, motivating them and seeing them grow beyond themselves has always fascinated and touched me.
I know self-doubt all too well myself, being my own harshest critic. I am all the more grateful that I was able to learn from inspiring people during my professional career to question the status quo, to stand up for my needs and to believe in myself – no matter what risks this entailed.
Last but not least, it is the various professional experiences from marketing, communication to project management and sales, as well as my passion for organizing and planning, that give me the tools to help my clients flourish.
Are you in need of a plan B?
Finally, a word about my company name, Roos Blossom. My maiden name is Roos which in Dutch means "rose". I consider it my mission to help other women blossom and flourish so they can confidently take charge of their professional future. This is also reflected in the logo, which symbolizes a steering wheel surrounded by flower buds and a blossomed rose in the center. A big thank you to Urs from ROOS'N'ROOS for the creative and loving realization.
